I think we can all agree that chalkboard paint is all the rage right now! I love it and can't wait to use it on something, anything! Here is another great idea from Oopsey Daisy

Flag Blocks

Oh how I love the blog Brown Paper Packages! They just posted this great tutorial on these super cute flag blocks.

Fall Topiaries

Decor Chick! has an awesome DIY tutorial on Fall Topiaries. She saw some at Michael's for $19.99/each and they weren't that cute. So she bought the supplies and made 2 that are gorgeous for half the price of one. Here are some photos!

Check her blog for the original Michael's Topiary photo and the how to. These photos make me so excited for Fall!!

Decorative Wooden Blocks

Brown Paper Packages has a great tutorial on how to make these adorable wooden blocks on their blog. I will be making these ASAP!! So cute and so cheap to make!

FHE Chart

I found this FHE Chart on Oopsey Daisy and I love it! She has a complete tutorial on how to make it!

Super Duper Dough

I found this cute idea on Yay! I Made It. She has a recipe for it that she got from Skip to My Lou. There is also a free printout for the outside of the old frosting container.

Boy Baby Shower Mustaches

Lindsay passed along this link to Prudent Baby for these adorable baby shower mustaches! Thank you for the link! Anytime y'all (i think I have 4 total readers) find something cute, send it along! haleyuns at gmail dot com. Oh and speaking of Lindsay, did you see my new awesome "Auntie Lolo Crafts" button on the right side of the blog? Thank you Lindsay!!

P.S. I had never been on Prudent Baby's website before this and holy cow it rocks! She even has a book coming out and I can see why!

Puppet Theater

What a great idea! Dandee Designs has a tutorial on how to make this simple puppet theater. I can only sew a straight stitch and half the time I cannot even accomplish that, but I could even make this! And I will be. I don't know who I am giving it to yet but I think it would be a great Christmas present. One of the things I love most about it, is that it's for babies and toddlers as you will see in the photos. I also love that this is a really inexpensive project. You could use an old sheet or scrap fabric to make it. Also you could make it simple like this one, or embellish it!

Camping Butt-kets

I love nap time shared a tutorial on how to make Camping Butt-kets. If you camp a lot, you are definitely going to want to make one of these. I wish I would have had it at girls camp! This is what you start with....
You can get these for free at Sam's Club or Costco in the bakery. They are frosting tubs. Once you decorate it and make padding for the lid, you can fill it with food, drinks or anything else you need to store.

ABC Art

How cute are these FREE printable flashcards? They would be really fun to help children learn their abc's or to hang as decoration. Download the free file at The Crafting Chicks

Here are a few of my favorites...
Logan Temple

Orlando Temple
Salt Lake City Temple

Father's Day....

I do realize it's not Father's Day anytime soon but I saw this on Eighteen 25 and had to share it before I forgot! Click on the link to view the tutorial.

Map of America

My Mind's Eye just featured this amazing Map of America on their blog and even better, they give you a file to download that tells you how to make it! It's beautiful and perfect for a kids room.

Tic-Tac-Toe

Brown Paper Packages has given me a great Christmas Gift idea for the nieces and nephews. It's a burlap Tic-Tac-Toe board that is huge! She also personalized it for her kids names. She gives a full tutorial on how to make it and it looks pretty easy and doesn't use a lot of materials.

CREATE for less.

One of my favorite things ever is when you find something super expensive and make it for super cheap! It's such a wonderful feeling! Imperfectly Beautiful made my day with this post. She found the photo below in Ballard Designs.

It would have cost $300 to buy this. No not the hutch, just the letters saying CREATE :) Here is the version she came up with for less than $8.00!! That's a savings of $292.

She used embroidery hoops, her cricut machine and some linen she had lying around. She was going to try and find some circle frames at thrift stores but then just couldn't wait. Um, I LOVE it.

Valentine's LOVE Blocks......

I love these "Love" blocks from Every Crafty Endeavor. Black, White and Red are so great together!

Growth Chart

Lyndsey's Craft Spot just shared a tutorial on how to make this cute growth chart. I love this idea especially for people like me, who move all the time. When I have kids it would be nice to have a piece of wood that we could move from house to house with their growth on it. Very good gift idea. Easy and cheap to make!
