Halloween decor on a budget!

Have you been to the blog House of Smith's? Well, I hadn't either until Eighteen25 did a feature about them. The Halloween Decor on a budget is divine! It's exactly how I would decorate for Halloween and now I can. Go to Eighteen25 for way more photos and details.

Indian Corn Table Favors

Aren't these so cute and creative? Kelley Highway found the idea in a Better Homes and Garden Magazine from 2008. She took photos with her phone of the pictures (totally something I would do) and figured out how to make it herself. I am super impressed! We are going down south to Doug's families for Thanksgiving and I might just have to make these! I know Aunt Ann would love them. The best part? They were just over $1 to make!
Please go to Kelley Highway's blog for the whole tutorial.

Paper Pumpkins

I love pumpkins, who doesn't really?
Here are some super cute ones from Make Mine Lime a brand new blog I found from Someday Crafts. I love finding new blogs! Click on "Make Mine Lime" for the whole tutorial.

Halloween is coming!!

Ok so basically all I have been able to think about is Halloween lately. Normally I don't even get that excited about it. But my BFF asked me to help her with some of her Halloween party decorations and now I've lost my mind
with Halloween excitement!! So be prepared to see
lots of great Halloween ideas!

Our first Halloween craft comes from Sassy Sites.

Table Runner Gallery

Ucreate recently posted a great table runner gallery.
Here is one of my favorites from Diary of a Quilter.
Be sure to check them all out.

Monogrammed Knife Block

I am pretty much sold on any craft that involves spray paint and vinyl. It might be becoming a problem. :)
I can't wait to spray paint my knife block!
The tutorial is at Brown Paper Packages. So easy!

Chalkboard Frames

I recently found some really cheap frames at the thrift store that I am dying to spray paint and do something with.
Here's a great idea from Brown Paper Packages.
I really love the guest room idea.

Little Fabric Birdie

These little birdies are adorable!
I think they would make a great mobile for a babies room too. Go to, It's My Story and I'm sticking to it,
for the link to the pattern.

Floating Frame

Oh I love it when I find a fabulous idea like this one! I found a new blog called, Red Heads Craft More Fun. This is such an easy, inexpensive idea that could work for any holiday! In fact I might use this idea at a baby shower I am throwing this month. I'll take a photo if I do.

Napkin Dress

I love this idea for a baby shower! And it's not as hard as it looks, which I also love. Ok, so I haven't exactly tried it yet, but her tutorial looks reasonably easy :) Check out How Does She? for the step by step tutorial.
