File Folder Games

I found a great link for File Folder Games on Or So She Says. They featured Maria from Yay! I made it. Talk about a cute blog name! If you click on the link for "Or So She Says" Maria has put her links for printing out the file folder images. I just started making file folder games and they are alot of fun! Especially when you don't have to color them!

Wipe Off Menu Board

Little Birdie Secrets is such a great blog! I always find good ideas there. I love this wipe off menu board! I think it's a great Christmas gift idea. I would enjoy one that just says "To Do" on it that you could write on and then wipe off. No more writing it down on paper and then loosing your to do list after writing it. :)

How To Paint Laminate Furniture

I just love Infarrantly Creative's blog. She just wrote a post on how to paint laminate furniture. I have a pretty ugly laminate dresser I have always wanted to paint but had no clue how to do it. I also assumed I would have to sand it, which just wasn't going to happen. Well, I was wrong! Please click on the link above to visit her blog and see just how easy she makes it. Homemade Silk Screen

This is AMAZING! Sew a Straight Line found a tutorial from Craftgrrl on how to make a homemade silk screen. Sew a Straight Line then used it for her annual family reunion. If you look at her blog, you can see that little kids were able to make their own shirts, it was so easy! Also, the homemade silk screens are cheap to make but last! They made 100 shirts! Here are some photos from Craftgrrl. Seriously, this is the greatest idea for girls camp, family reunions or just making fun custom shirts!

The finished product. There are more steps than what I showed here, but not that many! Doesn't it look great??!! I cannot wait to try this.

Craft Tips from Ucreate

I love Ucreate's blog! Here are some Craft Tips that were recently posted......

• Use a cookie sheet w/ newspaper or wax paper for a portable craft surface…super easy cleanup!
• Sharpen your scissors by cutting sand paper.
• Place a little bit of Vaseline to the end of your glue gun to get rid of those long glue strings.
• Soak your paint brushes in fabric softener or hair conditioner for 10 min…cleans right off!
• Recycle large plastic lids by using them for a painter’s pallette or cutting them up for stencils.
• Need to create a large pattern? Use newspapers!
• Keeping a magnet close by makes picking up those sewing pins a sinch!
• Store those pipe cleaners for kid’s crafts inside of a paper towel tubes.
• Break up some styrofoam to create snow for craft projects.
• Keep those cardboard boxes! Cut & cover with patterned paper to make a mini album, cover with art paper and use as a canvas, and I always use them to eliminate a mess while spraypainting!

Framed Monogram

This is a great idea for a gift! Homemakin' & Decoratin' took a $1 frame, put a piece of scrapbook paper in it and then printed out a "B" on her computer and put it in the frame. It doesn't get easier or cheaper than that! You could also put a piece of scrapbook paper in the frame and then cut out the letter in vinyl.
