When my Martha Stewart Magazine came, I loved this idea and ripped it out. Then my sister came over and wanted a copy too :) So I thought I would share it with my blog friends! Martha featured some simple cross stitch patterns with just one color designs that you can take on the go. I love the fact that they are so simple and perfect for beginners. Go HERE for the patterns or get a template to make your own image into a cross stitch.

Thinking Of You Card.....
One of my very best friends received some bad news this week and so I made her a "Thinking of You" card. Actually my sister Farris and I made this together. She got a Cricut for Christmas and so I was teaching her about layers, etc.
Recipe:
Cartridge: Cindy Loo
Ribbon: Papertrey Ink
Stamp: My Pink Stamper
Cuttlebug Dot Folder Used
Paper: DCWV and Bo Bunny
Punch: Martha Stewart
Embroidery Hoop Christmas Card Holder
My nephew was doing a magazine school fundraiser a few months ago and I participated by purchasing a years subscription to Martha Stewart Magazine. I know, it was a huge sacrifice ;) In the December issue (which was fabulous btw) she featured a Embroidery Hoop Christmas Card Holder or "Pinup Wreath" as Martha calls it. I knew immediately that I had to make it. I have always struggled to figure out where to put our Christmas Cards we get in the mail. Finally, an inexpensive and cute solution. I ended up using 2 because I ran out of space with the first one.
I hung ours on a wreath hanger, on the back of the coat closet door, which is right inside the front door. It turned
out to be the perfect place for the Christmas Cards.
Here are some photos of ours.
