Framed Stencil Wall Art

I love it when people take something and
make it look TOTALLY different. The Idea Room
did just that with this framed photo....
Are you ready to see what they made? It is crazy good!
Right?! So gorgeous.
The Idea Room is also nice enough to give a full tutorial so that we can make it ourselves!

My take on a "Different Kind of Wreath"

When my sister Francis saw THIS post she decided she wanted me to make her a "different kind of wreath" for her Christmas present. I made it back in August and it was very hard not to show her before Christmas. I found the frame at Goodwill and painted it. Here is a before picture....
and after......

She loved it!

Merry Christmas Sign

I wanted to make a simple "Merry Christmas" sign to put out this year. I took a piece of really thin wood from Hobby Lobby  and modge podged a piece of Bo Bunny Dotted Red Paper (my favorite paper ever) onto it. You can't see the dots in the picture very well but in person they are really cute and subtle. Then I took a black ink pad and "inked" the edges. After that was dry I printed out "Merry Christmas" in black vinyl and that was it, project done! Sorry it's not a very good photo but I think you get the idea. My inspiration was THIS board done by the Crafting Chicks.

Thrifty Halloween Art

Ok this is right up my alley.
My Blonde Ambitions found two great frames at a thrift store and turned them into Halloween genius! The best part?
You can put something else in the frames when it's not Halloween. To make it? Just print off a Halloween image, cut it out and put it against cute paper. I mean does it get easier than that? Nope. It sure doesn't!

Before

Star Wars Eye Chart

I was so excited when I saw Modge Podge Rocks
feature this Star Wars Eye Chart from Hodge:Podge
I know my hubby is going to want one. And my nephews.
And my friends hubby's. Ok and me. :)
I LOVE IT!

The best part? All she used was a computer,
canvas and modge podge!

Chalkboard Frames

I recently found some really cheap frames at the thrift store that I am dying to spray paint and do something with.
Here's a great idea from Brown Paper Packages.
I really love the guest room idea.

Floating Frame

Oh I love it when I find a fabulous idea like this one! I found a new blog called, Red Heads Craft More Fun. This is such an easy, inexpensive idea that could work for any holiday! In fact I might use this idea at a baby shower I am throwing this month. I'll take a photo if I do.
